About Us

Arborlea Tennis Club is a private, member-owned club established in the 1930’s with 3 RED clay, outdoor courts located in a quiet, residential area in the Arborlea section of Morrisville, PA. It is near the intersection of Oak Road and West Ferry Road, not far from Pennsbury Racquet Club (see DIRECTIONS). Annual individual/family membership dues are very reasonable, and there are no additional per-play fees. The club is governed by volunteer officers and a board of directors.

The courts open in early May and close in early November. They are open from sunup to sundown, 7 days a week. Court time is on a first-come, first-serve basis with some courtesy rules in effect if others are waiting to play. Guests can play with the members per the guest policy rules. The maintenance staff monitors the courts for playability after rain, and perform daily sweeping, watering, and rolling as needed.

Enjoy the experience of playing on red clay courts:

  • The softer surface reduces physical strain on the knees, ankles, and back
  • Sliding movements on clay helps develop better dynamic balance, stability on the run, and overall lower body coordination
  • Slower pace of the game and higher ball bounce lead to longer rallies and more extended matches, building strength, stamina and mental toughness
